What I collect when you order, why I need it, who else sees it, and what you can ask me to do with it.

Who’s responsible for your data

Liam Software is run by Liam, based in Portugal. Email: hello@liamsoftware.dev. Full seller details will be added here before orders open.

What I collect

Your order details: your email, your product link, your notes, and your repo link if you order a Full Audit.
Test logins: any test account details you give me. Please don’t send a password you use anywhere else.
Payment details: Stripe handles your payment. I see your name, email, country, the amount and whether you paid, but never your full card number.
What appears on screen: my recording captures whatever your product shows me, so please use demo data, not real customer data.
Emails: anything you send me by email.
Technical data: Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver and protect this site.

Why I use it, and my legal basis

To deliver what you ordered and talk to you about it: this is needed to perform our contract.
To take payment and keep tax records: this is needed for our contract and to meet my legal obligations.
To keep the site working and block spam: this is my legitimate interest in running a safe service.
To publish your video: only if you give me written permission. You can withdraw it at any time, and I’ll take the video down.

I need your email and product link to take your order, and a repo link for a Full Audit. Fields marked optional are up to you. I won’t add you to a mailing list, and I don’t use your data to make automated decisions about you.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare: hosts this site and the database that stores orders.
Stripe: processes payments. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
My email provider: handles the emails we exchange.
Google: stores and delivers your private video through Google Drive.
Anthropic: I may use its AI assistant, Claude, to help prepare transcripts and reports. I don’t give it your login details.
My accountant and public authorities: where tax or other law requires it.

I don’t sell your data.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of these companies may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer relies on legal safeguards such as an EU adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Email me for details of the safeguards that apply.

How long I keep it

Test logins: deleted once your order is delivered or refunded.
Forms submitted without payment: deleted within 30 days.
Order details and videos: deleted 12 months after delivery, unless you’ve let me publish the video.
Payment and tax records: kept for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of your data, or ask me to correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to uses based on my legitimate interests. Email hello@liamsoftware.dev and I’ll reply within a month.

You can also complain to Portugal’s data protection authority, the CNPD, or to the authority where you live.

Cookies

This site doesn’t set cookies or use analytics. Stripe’s checkout page is run by Stripe and may use its own cookies to process your payment.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
